Tonight’s Alaskan Bush People episode begins in late summer on the ranch. Bird is really excited about he hard rock mining, she can’t wait to get things going. People have been mining on the mountain for a long, long time and Rain has the strongest gold fever from anyone in the family. Although, Rain is not there, she is working on herself because the trip to Alaska was very hard for her.
Noah doesn’t think that He and Bird are expert miners, but they do have some experience under their belts. He has confidence that they can do this. It is going to be hard work because they have much labor, but it will be worth it.
Gabe is still working on his rugged parcel of land in the hopes of getting his dream home built for his family. He is learning a drivable path to the property. Bear drops by to help Gave with the water tank. With a little bit of ingenuity, Bear gets the water tank up on the flat bed, then he fills it.
Ami and Bam are talking about some sales, as much as Ami would like to keep them, they have to sell them to sustain the ranch. Bam is concerned that she is selling a breeding pair.
Gabe navigates the path to bring up the water that Bear prepared for him. Gabe left a tree on his property, that is kind of in the middle, he liked it and didn’t want to take it down. When he backs up the flatbed, he hits the tree and thankfully doesn’t knock it down. Gabe is super excited working on his home, he can’t wait to have a foundation, it is the beginning.
Bird tells Noah that Rain is close to coming home. She doesn’t know the exact date, but it is close. Bird really wants this gold production to be going into time for Rain to return home. They are about to test the equipment, they both wish each other good luck.
Gabe and Bear try to get the pulls in one pen and the cows in the other, getting ready to get two out for the sale.
Bird has another doctor’s appointment coming up, that is pretty important, but she doesn’t want to think about it right now.
Its the morning of the first cattle sale, the rancher who bought them are there to pick them up. Easier said than done, they have to take the two out without the mother getting upset. Its a fail, they have to regroup and start again tomorrow.
Bird and Noah are continuing to work on the mining equipment. They figure out exactly what they need, a few more things and they should be good to go.
Gabe is haling building material up to his place, the path is rugged, but he doesn’t mind if his cabin is off the beaten path. Bam arrives to help, Noah is ok with his being there but wonders how useful he will be. There are not enough shovels, so Gabe sings opera, and juggles, to entertain the two.
It is a second attempt at getting out the livestock that are sold, Bear is there to lend a hand. One escapes into a neighbouring fence. This is not something the wolf pack is used to, but they all have to work together. They finally do it, they actually bred the long horns, sold them, and get them into the trailer for the sale.
Bird and Noah are still working on the mining equipment. This is the longest that Bird has been away from Rain, she is not just her world, she is her universe. Together, Noah and Bird put a rock on the belt to see if it crushes, it does but one piece splits the conveyer belt.
Bird and Noah have to keep working on the mining equipment, until they get it right.
