Alaskan Bush People’s Bear Brown says mom Ami ‘lost her true love’ in sweet Mother’s Day tribute after dad Billy’s death
ALASKAN Bush People’s Bear Brown shared his mom, Ami, “lost her true love.”
The dad posted a sweet Mother’s Day tribute after his own dad Billy’s death.
Bear posted a picture of his mom, Ami, and his late dad, Billy, captioned: “Today is Mother’s Day!!! I’m the luckiest to still have my mom! This has been the most difficult year for all of us, but especially for my mom, she lost her true love, in over 40 years they have never been apart, and still my mom is looking out for us, consoling us, her kids!
“I have never seen such strength!!! Being a mother is one of the hardest things a woman can do and my hat goes off to all moms the whole world round! Truly without such strong women, virtually giving up their whole lives for someone else, the world would not be what it is.
“A mother teaches us to share to be kind and polite to have manners and treat people right, mothers shaper the future and the very world around us! No one gives as much as a mother! Happy Mother’s Day Mom! Without you I wouldn’t be me!
“And a very happy Mother’s Day to the mother of my son Raiven! She is doing an amazingly awesome job! Happy Mother’s Day to all moms and God bless!”
The Alaskan Bush People star lost his father, Billy, in February at the age of 68 after suffering a seizure in the family’s Washington home.
Billy and Ami’s son Bear confirmed the passing on Instagram.
The caption read: “We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved patriarch Billy Brown passed away last night after suffering from a seizure.
“He was our best friend – a wonderful and loving dad, granddad and husband and he will be dearly missed. He lived his life on his terms, off the grid and off the land and taught us to live like that as well.
“We plan to honor his legacy going forward, and to continue with his dream.”
Last month, Bear and his on-again-off-again girlfriend and baby momma, Raiven broke up after allegations he cheated on her.
Bear and his ex, Raiven, share 1-year-old son, River.
Raiven recently shared a video of herself dancing on TikTok and wrote over the clip: “Everyone I know in person would say I am great mom and person. I do for others constantly so strangers’ opinions or my exes don’t matter to me.”
Raiven also wrote: “Exactly, I’ve had exes of my ex come to me and say ‘oh wow, you’re nothing like he said you were.'”
She ended: “Ex’s def aren’t credible sources [sic].”
Raiven confirmed a few days later that she will not be getting back together with Bear.
Alongside a black and white selfie on Instagram, Raiven explained: “Before drama occurs I previously didn’t want to make a statement or discuss it online. But bear wants to post online so I will simply say. I am looking for a healthy positive relationship if I am to have one at all and a happy life for our son.
“As a couple, we are unable to provide that for him so it is in River’s best interest we are separated. This will not happen again as I have closed this chapter in my life and have put my focus to providing a happy home.”
