The time has come for fans to see what new mystery Days of Our Lives actress Alison Sweeney (Sami) is in for next. In the latest installment of her Hallmark Movies & Mysteries series, A Zest for Death: A Hannah Swensen Mystery, Sweeney’s character slowly rules out suspects but ends up uncovering a shocking truth.
On Friday, October 6, at 9 pm, Sweeney, who leads the cast as Hannah, will once again team up with General Hospital’s Cameron Mathison (Drew) as Detective Mike and One Life to Live’s Barbara Niven (Liz) as Hannah’s mom Delores — and there will be no shortage of twists and turns in their latest feature.
So, what kind of mess will Hannah get herself into this time? While Delores helps her sister Michelle search for a new house, she discoveries the dead body of the homeowner, who happens to be a regular customer of Hannah’s bakery, The Cookie Jar. That fact alone leaves Hannah wanting nothing more than to find the killer and is convinced that the prime suspect Mike and the sheriff are focusing on isn’t the culprit.
With the help of her mom, aunt and sister, Hannah and her family begin their investigation and uncover clues that slowly rule out suspects. However, in the end, it’s the shocking truth about the killer’s identity that leaves the town of Lake Eden stunned.
Back in June, Mathison shared his excitement while filming their latest movie and stated, “So grateful to be working with this amazing women, and everyone that’s a part of this incredible series of movies.”
