Other DOOL fans took to the thread to speculate on this possible theory. Little is known about this character. He hasn’t been on the NBC soap for decades.
One fan wrote: “They could always bring him back. The show needs a new villain. I was hoping it would be Dimitri [Von Leuschner] but looks like he’s just going to be a comedy sidekick lover to Leo [Stark].
One fan noted that Ernesto could still be alive. This was the case with the show’s character Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso), who came back from the dead.
