Days of Our Lives Recap: Friday, July 28 – Daddy Eric Confirmation, Stolen Results and Last-Minute Wedding Confession

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, July 28, reveals that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) called out to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) in the bathroom since his phone was blowing up on the bed. It was distracting Gwen as she prepared for her wedding, so Leo told her to just put it on vibrate.

When Gwen picked up the phone, she was surprised to see scandalous text messages from someone listed as “MP” in Leo’s contacts.

Leo made up a story about meeting a guy named Matthew Perry on a match website and acted like he didn’t tell Gwen because he didn’t want to jinx it.

Gwen was thrilled for Leo and gave him a nudge to go see “MP” before the wedding, but Leo insisted today was all about Gwen.

Leo also sent a text to Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) and explained the close call. Dimitri wondered why Leo had him listed as “MP” in his phone, so Leo confessed it was because of the “Magic Penis” nickname that he’d given him.

As Leo and Gwen reflected on their roommate era coming to an end, they shared an emotional moment and reassured each other about still spending time together.

At the DiMera mansion, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) snuck up behind Dimitri in his bedroom and taunted him over boyfriend’s texts, but Dimitri insisted Leo wasn’t his boyfriend.

Dimitri continued to act like he was just manipulating Leo, but Kristen offered a warning since Leo was Gwen’s bestie and would spill the beans sooner or later.

Over with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), he gave Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) an anniversary card and some small gifts to make up for the anniversaries that they’d missed when they were apart.

Gabi had previously planned to stay with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and avoid letting Stefan see the bride before the wedding.

However, Gabi ultimately decided the superstition was silly and figured nothing could happen to them that hadn’t happened already.

Stefan assured Gabi that the “’til death do us part” part would be for real this time and ultimately got passionate with her.

Downstairs, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) was thrilled over the article she’d read about Abe Carver (James Reynolds) being alive.

EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) had some news of his own since the genetic testing results were ready to be picked up from the hospital.

Although EJ suggested going to pick them up together before the wedding, Stefan asked his brother to be his best man and help him get ready. Nicole decided she’d pick up the results on her own and urged EJ to grant Stefan’s request.

At home on Friday’s Days episode, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) dreamed that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) found out about her rigged DNA test, so he left her for Nicole in this dream and called his baby with Sloan a mistake.

When Sloan woke up startled, Eric comforted her over the nightmare and later suggested she should come to the pub with him.

Since Eric planned to tell Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) about the baby, he thought Sloan could join them.

Sloan declined and claimed she promised to spend a little time with Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman) before his prison sentence officially began.

Once Sloan took off on Friday’s Days episode, she wound up at the hospital and posed as Nicole to get her results.

The staff member Sloan spoke with pushed for ID, but Sloan acted like she didn’t have it with her.

After “Nicole” namedropped that EJ was her husband, the staff member handed the results over in a hurry.

In a private room on Friday’s DOOL show, Sloan looked at the paperwork and panicked when she realized EJ wasn’t a genetic match. That meant Nicole was indeed having Eric’s baby.

Back with Nicole, she was perplexed when another staff member told her that her results had already been picked up.

Next on Friday’s Days episode, Rafe showed up at Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) door on her day off and found her wearing only a towel.

After Rafe asked Jada to be his plus one at Gabi’s wedding, she wondered if he was sure about going public.

Once Rafe reassured Jada and made love to her, she agreed to attend the wedding with him.

Jada and Rafe were all glammed up for it when Eric ran into them downstairs at the pub.

Eric got confirmation that Jada and Rafe were seeing each other, so he was happy for them.

Since Eric had some baby booties in his hands, Jada suggested it looked like he had some updates, too.

Eric admitted Sloan was having his baby, so Jada was glad he was finally getting the child he always wanted.

Back at the DiMera mansion, Kristen surprised the bride by bringing her a family heirloom necklace that was old, borrowed, blue and at least new to Gabi.

Although Gabi was initially suspicious of Kristen, she looked in her eyes and couldn’t find an ulterior motive.

Kristen admitted Gabi had been kind to her, so she just wanted to forge a friendship. Since Kristen assumed Gabi didn’t have a maid of honor, she offered to pitch in.

When Dimitri appeared in the living room dressed to the nines, Stefan and EJ made it clear that he wasn’t invited to the wedding.

Dimitri didn’t know about Gabi and Stefan’s nuptials, so he thought it was quite a coincidence since he was also marrying Gwen today.

Although EJ tried to shut down Dimitri’s wedding plans, Stefan reminded him that they should stay on Dimitri’s good side for the sake of DiMeta votes.

There was an easy fix since they could just add a few chairs and make it a double wedding.

When Gabi came down, she flipped over that double wedding news since Dimitri was a creep and Gwen let her take the fall for drugging Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller).

Stefan calmed Gabi down by reminding her that the important thing was that they were getting married.

Gwen walked in with Leo on her arm and objected to the double wedding as well, but Kristen helped Dimitri convince her that it would be magical.

Rafe and Jada also arrived, but EJ let everyone know that Nicole was running late and said to go on without her.

The officiant got to the part where if anyone had a reason why either couple shouldn’t wed, they needed to speak now or forever hold their piece.

Suddenly, Leo piped up about having something to say, so both Dimitri and Gwen looked concerned.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi, Stefan, Gwen and Dimitri’s double nuptials will continue, so stay tuned to hear Liam’s last-minute comments.
