Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest now that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) is acting mayor of Salem, things may go back to normal in the little town.
When Clint Rawlings (Grayson Berry) was in charge, he made a lot of changes. One of them was firing Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and replacing with Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) as the new police commissioner.
Still, so much has changed since Rafe exited the role and Shawn-D entered. Now that Paulina is at the head of things, will Hernandez take his rightful place back at Salem’s police department or give the opportunity to someone else?
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Many Moving Pieces To This Police Commish Storyline
Days spoilers for the week of August 28th imply that Price will have some updates for both Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and Rafe.
While fans may have disagreed with Rafe’s firing, Mayor Clint was following protocol with the city’s new mandate around “fraternizing” between managers and subordinates.
Paulina could offer Rafe his job back, with an ultimatum: break up with Jada or keep their relationship a secret.
Of course, Rafe may refuse both. He isn’t the type to lie, and he doesn’t want to break up with Ms. Hunter.
Plus, added teasers reveal that he could join Black Patch, and take a new career path in the little town.
Meanwhile, Shawn was doing better with his mental health and drinking when he was promoted to Police Commissioner by Rawlings; however, he has begun spiraling since he found out about his grandfather Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) passing.
Victor not only blamed him for Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) coma, but the two also hadn’t spoken in months.
There’s no way Shawn-D will be able to handle the demands as Salem’s Police Commissioner, so perhaps someone else will enter the role.
DOOL Spoilers – Could Jada Hunter Become The Town’s New Police Commissioner?
Jada was really interested in the job when it became vacant, but unfortunately, Rawlings quickly looked her over for the position and literally handed it to Shawn.
With a recommendation from Rafe, or possibly Paulina herself, could Jada enter the role?
She’s more than capable of heading Salem’s police department with experience, smarts, and overall leadership skills.
