Valentine’s Karma Strikes Back – September 25, 2024 (Episode 1778)
In this episode of Demain Nous Appartient, Valentine revels in Victor’s misfortune, but her actions come back to haunt her as the police uncover her involvement.
Meanwhile, Rachel, a true survivor, remains hospitalized. Though still coughing a lot, she expresses her gratitude to Timothée for saving her life. Despite a slight burn on his hand, Timothée assures her it’s nothing serious. Charles also thanks Timothée for rescuing his girlfriend, Rachel. Chloé (Ingrid Chauvin) is relieved that L’Hôtellier is behind bars, and Alex shows his appreciation to Michael, who took considerable risks. Michael, worried about his children’s future, is now focused on being there for them and is even taking medication to cope.
Victor’s Cynicism and the Fire Investigation
While Victor praises Timothée’s courage in saving a life, he admits that the insurance will cover part of the damages. However, Philippine finds his attitude too cynical, especially considering a young woman almost died. Meanwhile, tensions are high as Damien, Adrien, Rob, and Audrey feel uneasy about Jordan and Violette spending the night at the house.
As the fire investigation continues, George suggests that the possibility of insurance fraud cannot be ruled out. On the other hand, Mona, who’s feeling distant from Joël, decides to ghost him, believing he’s toxic, and opts to sign up for a dating site instead.
Relationship Struggles and New Revelations
Alex opens up to Michell Malik Z about his uncertainty regarding reconnecting with his brother, Robin, despite Robin’s apology. Timothée confides in Bart about his emotions after being embraced by Rachel in the hospital. Martin visits Rachel to question her about the fire, and she recounts her failed attempts to extinguish it. Unfortunately, she didn’t see how the fire started.
At the high school, Liam (Julian Baudoin) welcomes Violette and Lilou. He offers Lilou his support, but Mia is wary of Lilou, viewing her as an opportunist.
Valentine’s Deception Uncovered
Valentine, reading an article about Victor’s domain fire, smugly tells Mona that it’s karma for Victor. However, her glee is short-lived when Sarah questions Victor and starts to suspect foul play. Valentine’s punctured tire will be analyzed, and Damien suspects it was slashed with a knife. To top it all off, the fingerprints found on the tire belong to none other than Valentine Ribero.
