General Hospital Comings And Goings: A New Doctor Signs In For Gregory
There was a time when most of the action of the ABC soap happened outside of the premises of the titular General Hospital. However, with time, that has changed. In the recent years, the makers have rolled out more stories that put emphasis on the medical center. Perhaps that’s why when Franco died, the makers recycled actor Roger Howarth into a freshly minted Dr. Austin Hold. After all a medical facility as huge as GH surely needs more staff! And the latest spoilers tease that the expansion is far from over. Because another new doctor is about to step into the realm! Dive right in to find out all about it!
General Hospital: “The Dr. Will See You Now, Gregory”
We know that Gregory Chase is struggling with a severe health issue at General Hospital. Moreover, he is struggling even harder to keep a lid on his predicament. However, it seems like he won’t be able to keep the cat in the bag for much longer now. His ALS, a.k.a. Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is getting worse by the day. Consequently, it is getting harder for him to keep the tell-tale symptoms under control and under wraps from his loved ones. In the upcoming episodes will visit his physician, Dr. Bronson. When you see Dr. Bronson share the screen with Gregory in the future episodes of General Hospital, a sense of deja vu might settle in. But that would be just because you actually might have seen him before. However, he did not appear on GH, but its spin-off, General Hospital: night shift. Jeffery appeared in an episode titled “Fallen From the Sky.” His character nervously scaled the floors of the hospital as his character waited on news of his about-to-give-birth wife.
However, in true soap opera fashion, it was revealed that his wife was never actually pregnant. In fact, she was suffering a phantom pregnancy on the General Hospital spin-off. Her condition was triggered by the psychological trauma endured following an abortion years earlier. Coming back to the present day, we feel Jeffery’s Dr. Branson will be a welcome addition to the cast of the show. It will be interesting to see if he can actually help Gregory with his symptoms and treatment or not. So stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers for more General Hospital updates on this!
