General Hospital Fave Shares That ‘She Is… Pregnant’ — and Takes Everyone Along for the Big Reveal

Congrats go out to One Life to Live and General Hospital alum Kristen Alderson (Starr; ex-Kiki) and her fiancé Taylor Crousore! The former ABC soap actress revealed that she is expecting her first child.
Alderson posted an Instagram video and explained, “I took a test and it was a faint line that I was positive — for pregnancy — and I didn’t really believe it 100% because it was a faint line.” She went on to say how she bought another test then took her followers along for the ride as she prepared to look at the test. “I think it’s ready,” she shared as she walked to retrieve the stick. “It’ll say yes or no…”
So, what did it say?
“And she is… pregnant!” Alderson revealed while holding up the positive stick that read: “Yes+”
The video ended with the reaction of her mom, as well as many friends — and a scene sharing the news with one special person from her time on the Llanview soap. Plus, find out which other star from One Life to Live fell to the bathroom floor in tears when Alderson broke the news to them.

As detailed in her post, the couple started trying to get pregnant in April in case it took a while for them to conceive. However, it only took them two months, and on May 22, their lives changed for the better.
For those who don’t know, the couple got engaged in July and of that special event, the actress shared, “What I didn’t know when we found out, was that Taylor had already planned our proposal for July 15th! He had bought the ring in April, they had bought his mom’s flight in and everything!”

And yep, just like that, “the proposal ended up being perfect timing for our gender reveal. To say that we are excited, beyond grateful, and living on cloud nine is an understatement!”
In a follow-up post, she made another reveal — they are having a girl! “Words can’t describe the happiness,” Alderson expressed. “Baby girl Crousore due January 2024. Having a baby with my soulmate/best friend is the biggest blessing I could have ever been given.”
