ITV Emmerdale Dawn Taylor star teases ‘big drama’ for her and Billy in New Year as chaos strikes

Emmerdale actress Olivia Bromley has teased some big drama for her character next year.

Dawn Taylor is currently pregnant with her and husband Billy Fletcher’s first child. When they first got pregnant, there were some concerns in the family how adopted Clemmie might take the news – but it seems like things have been running fairly smoothly.

Whilst Clemmie initially struggled, her and Lucas are looking forward to meeting the new arrival. Next week on the ITV soap, Dawn ends up going into labour – and is desperate for her plan for a relaxing drug-free birth to work out.

However, whilst the birth seems to all be ok, it looks like there’s trouble ahead for Dawn and her husband Billy.

Speaking to The Mirror and other press, she said of what was to come for her and Billy in the next few months: “There’s some big things coming up definitely, but I’m in dark as much as you guys because we’ve had some big changes! All I know is that there’s going to be a big drama for Billy and Dawn in the Spring time but I honestly don’t know anything.”

Olivia also teased that there could be some trouble for Gabby and Dawn’s friendship – but does this relate to the drama? Viewers saw Gabby attempt to try it on with Dawn’s husband Billy, and Olivia has teased there could be trouble ahead if that’s revisited.

“I think Dawn and Gabby’s relationship changes all the time. Fundamentally, they have a friendship – they’re not quite sisters – but they have this weird higgledy piggledy family in Home Farm where there’s a lot of respect for each other,” she said.

Hinting more trouble is ahead, she said: “But when Gabby did try it on with Billy, it was just too far for Dawn and it almost broke them. But as happens, they managed to bring it back together and Gabby’s been a real support during Dawn’s pregnancy. It’s what she needs and someone who lifts her up a bit. At the moment, it seems fine – but it won’t be for very long.”

Olivia has previously teased that her villainous ex Alex could make a huge return to the village in shocking scenes, just as it seems that both Dawn and Billy are very content with their upcoming arrival.

Speaking to The Mirror and other press, and asked if villain Alex might make his return one day, Olivia said: “I think that he’s just a presence in our lives. Like Jay says we can’t get rid of him entirely because of the kids but at the moment. We think he’s out of the picture and we’ve got a little bit of relief because he left the village under very scared circumstances. So we were pretty positive he’s not around at the moment. But yeah, he could crop up at any time so it’s a bit of a threat.”
