Emmerdale: “Dedicated To Steve Halliwell!”
Emmerdale star Steve Halliwell, known for the portrayal of Zak Dingle, ‘peacefully’ left the world on Friday, December 15, 2023 at the age of 77. Zak Dingle was last seen on Emmerdale back in June. His final episode was telecasted on June 27, 2023. Steve’s character entered the Dales on his mobility scooter. He had a conversation with Dan Spencer mid-way. In the scene, Dan asks him jokingly if he has driven over any buses lately. Zak replied with a laugh, “The potholes on the roads are enough, and that he’ll ‘give the ring of fire a miss.” Dan expressed that it is great to see him out and about. Zak has never failed to make us laugh, but who knew that would be his last joke on the show?
