But, for whatever reasons, Billy and Lily were swapped out for two other couples. Billy and Chelsea and Lily and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei).

Thompson’s character saved Chelsea, who is his son’s (Johnny Abbott, Paxton Mishkind) mother. They fell in love as this year progressed.

Victoria is the great love of Billy’s life. He also shares a daughter, Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri), and she is Johnny’s adoptive mother.

So, the tie between this one-time married couple is enduring.

There is little doubt that Chelsea’s need to leave GC, in what could be a months-long period, rather than forever, establishes the opportunity for him to involve himself in Victoria’s life. Of course, he could also do the same with Lily on Y&R.
