He is the head of the ever-expanding Newman Enterprises. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) believes he can pull a fast one, merging the ridiculously named Adustus, Kirsten Incorporated, and Newman Media. His attempt to coerce Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) into aiding the attempted coup was shady.
Teasers indicate Audra will reveal to Victor that Adam is pressuring her, which should alter the dynamic of this storyline. Adam’s push for power is exposed and will be addressed.

Adam is so arrogant that he assumed Audra had no way out. But Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), who has become Audra’s new romantic connection, devises a plan to help her.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) was suspicious of Audra’s intentions when meeting with her at the Genoa City Athletic Club.
Nikki heard Audra’s pitch about Newman Media merging with Adustus and Kirsten Incorporated without knowing it was inspired by Adam’s pressure.
Grossman’s character believes he is entitled to be in charge of Newman Media again. But he fronts the redundancy of the divisions overlapping each other as the business reason that fuels this idea.
Y&R Spoilers – Audra Charles Wants To Stay
Audra told Nikki something real. She asked for input about her performance at Newman Media, with Nikki seeing through the question.
While Audra cloaked the real reason she was pushing the merger at that point in the plot, she is concerned about her future with the company. Who would not be, considering the powerful forces that are aligned?
Telling Victor about Adam’s coercion could allow Audra to temporarily survive. But she now has an enemy in Adam and exposing the boss’ son, even though he is wrong, implies a short-lived tenure.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Defending Legacy
Victor believes he had to reassert control after two of his handpicked choices were veering off-track.
While Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has a good overall track record as the Chief Executive Officer at Newman, Victor believes there is potential for her romance with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to derail her.
Adam may always remain Victor’s self-described problem child. So, it appears the founder and reigning true head of the company will need to discipline Adam once again on Y&R.
