Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Eric’s Lackluster Marriage Proposal Offends Sloan – Proof Boyfriend Not Really In Love
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will go public with the news that Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) is expecting his baby. There’ll be a few people who find out during the week of July 24-28, but Eric will really spread the word during the week of July 31-August 4.
Of course, Eric has wanted to be a father for a while now, but this is kind of a tricky situation with Sloan.
The truth is Sloan and Eric aren’t really at the point in their relationship when they’d normally be having children.
After all, DOOL fans know Eric and Sloan haven’t even moved in together yet. Sloan is pregnant with Eric’s child, but she doesn’t even truly share a life with him yet.
Despite Sloan’s efforts to pull Eric closer and give him what he wants through the baby she’s now carrying, she can’t compete with his love for Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).
Nicole is arguably Eric’s soulmate, so Sloan surely senses that.
Days spoilers say Eric will ultimately deliver a lackluster proposal, so it sounds like it’ll involve a marriage offer.
However, Sloan may feel like Eric’s heart isn’t really in it based on how it all goes down.
Perhaps Eric won’t put a lot of thought into popping the question at all.
Eric probably won’t even have a ring when he suggests getting married down at the courthouse or something along those lines.
Maybe Eric will contend that it’d be better for the baby if they were a married couple by the time he or she arrives.
Eric might feel like it’ll make things less messy all around if their marriage happens before they start dealing with diapers, pacifiers and late-night feedings.
Unfortunately, Days spoilers say Sloan will be offended, so she may scold Eric since this won’t be very romantic.
It may feel like Eric is asking Sloan to marry him because it’s practical and not because he actually wants to spend the rest of his life with her.
Once Eric gets updates on how Sloan really feels, he might go for a do-over. Days spoilers hint that Eric may deliver another marriage proposal that satisfies Sloan later.
Nevertheless, this initial one might prove that Eric isn’t really in love since he would’ve put more thought into popping the question to Nicole again.
