Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Xander’s Engagement Ring Shocks Chloe – Marriage Proposal Gets Big Reaction

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will decide to take a bold step forward in his relationship with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). DOOL fans know Chloe and Xander’s romance has been an interesting one since they became roommates before they became lovers.

However, Xander and Chloe are on the same page romantically now – or at least they will be until Xander pops the question!

During the week of July 31-August 4, Days spoilers say Xander will get down on one knee and offer Chloe an engagement ring.

We’ll see Xander ask Chloe to marry him, but this grand gesture may not get the positive reaction he’s hoping for.

So far, Chloe certainly hasn’t given any indication that she’s ready to take such a massive leap with Xander.

It was hard enough for Chloe to get on board with dating and sleeping together, so the idea of marrying Xander will no doubt terrify her.

Chloe knows all about Xander’s problematic past as well as the fact that he’s still not over Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).

The thought of making a massive commitment to Xander right now may be hard for Chloe to go along with.

Chloe may also question Xander’s motives since this proposal will apparently happen shortly after Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) wedding to Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte).

Days spoilers say it could leave Chloe wondering if Gwen’s marriage had anything to do with Xander’s sudden urge to wed.

Although Sarah is the love of Xander’s life, he still cares about Gwen and may feel a certain sense of loss after she ties the knot.

That’s especially true since Xander doesn’t trust Dimitri and feels like Gwen’s making a mistake.

Since it looks like Xander will get updates on Sarah’s bogus story about moving on with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder), that may affect his proposal decision, too.

Xander might convince himself that he needs to go all in on Chloe and their future together.

Of course, Days viewers know Xander can be a pretty persuasive guy, so he might win Chloe over on his marriage pitch sooner or later.

Nevertheless, it seems likely this initial proposal will be a flop since Chloe is always honest with Xander about what’s in her heart.

Chloe may pump the brakes and confess that she’s not ready to become Xander’s fiancée.
