Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ And Nicole Grieve, Someone Delivered The Baby’s “Ashes”?
Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) and Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) will grieve, even though “their baby’s death” doesn’t seem real. They return from an outing to the DiMera mansion to find someone has delivered his ashes.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – It Finally Feels Real
What’s really upsetting to EJ and Nicole is that the baby’s birth wasn’t even registered, let alone his death-usually a birth certificate is made within twenty-four hours.
With their baby, there’s nothing-except Dr. Pierce’s (Steve Mize) story that the baby died and was accidentally cremated in the hospital morgue, but no proof-until now.
Now comes the hard part-they now have an urn, but no name for the baby, whose ashes will go in the DiMera mausoleum on the grounds.
Dr. Mize told them baby boy DiMera only survived a couple of hours, with internal injuries assumed to have happened in the wreck.
This still doesn’t make sense to Nicole, since the baby was inside her and she had no injuries-EJ doesn’t know what to think.
DOOL Spoilers – Closure Still Needed
Even if they have an urn with their baby’s ashes, closure is still needed and that may be a long time coming, with so many unanswered questions.
Someone from the hospital brought the package with the urn and a sympathy card when EJ and Nicole were out and dropped it off-something about that seems wrong.
So impersonal, so cold and clinical, so uncaring and unprofessional-anything but compassionate, which is what the medical profession is supposed to be-this was just another medical drop off sent by courier.
No one was home and the butler took the package, unsure what it was and put it in Nicole and EJ’s suite for them. They didn’t know what it was until they opened it and had to figure it out for themselves-they thought the doctor would bring it.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – More Time Needed To Process
EJ and Nicole need more time to process the loss even though they now have “proof” of what happened-he hasn’t even called his mother, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk).
She’s still recovering from her own traumatic experiences in England at the hands of her obsessed ex-husband so EJ doesn’t see any reason to tell her yet.
Nicole is surprised Susan didn’t hear “psychically” and come rushing back to Salem like she did with other situations in the past.
Once they have healed enough to name the baby they will set up a memorial service and Susan will be contacted.
Until then, they will put the urn in a safe and hidden place where no one else can find it and be curious enough to open it.
