General Hospital Spoilers: Carly’s Big News, Decides To Go Back To Nursing School?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will have some big news for her daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Might she have realized where she could get a job and decide to go back to nursing school?

General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Spencer Worked As A Physical Therapist

When Carly first came to town, bent on making trouble for her birth mother Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) she worked at GH as a physical therapist. But soon, she manipulated Tony Jones (Brad Maule) into getting her into nursing school where she learned a few things that came in handy later-sewing up bullet wounds for instance.

That’s also where she learned to do makeshift blood transfusions like when she saved Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) life on the run in Canada.

General Hospital Spoilers: Carly's Big News, Decides To Go Back To Nursing School?

Much younger and much more foolish, she abandoned that quickly, worming her way into the Spencer family and destroying a lot of lives. But now that she’s older and needs a job, she looks back on those days and decides to go back to nursing school-hopefully, getting a scholarship.

GH Spoilers: Carly Spencer Will Need To Work For Her Daily Needs

If Carly’s forced to use her savings to pay the fine to the Securities and Exchange Commission, she won’t have anything to pay her bills. Luckily, the house is paid off so she had considered selling it but that would still leave her with nothing to live off and nowhere to live besides!

If she can get a combination of needs-based scholarships and grants to go back to nursing school, she can be working on a new career and something left to live on.

Perhaps she can find a short term refresher course on physical therapy and do that as a job like she did as well. It might be a little weird for Josslyn, who wants to be a doctor, to perhaps be in some classes with her mother, but not too bad.

General Hospital Spoilers: It’s A Plan

Carly remembers enough of what she learned to likely catch up with new things quickly, and she and Joss agree it’s a plan.

Carly doesn’t have to be beholden to anyone and even if some of the grants are federal, it shouldn’t interfere with the SEC agreement-she’s just trying to better herself. Carly might be stepping down a little socially, but no one should look down on her for what she’s trying to do.

There’s a nursing shortage at GH, as well as a doctor shortage right now, so going back to almost her beginning in Port Charles is a good idea. Maybe after she works as a nurse for awhile, she might even try for becoming a doctor.

Be sure to catch up on everything happening with GH right now. Come back here often for General Hospital spoilers, news, and updates.
