All General Hospital viewers know that Curtis is in a crisis. But now, the portrayer- actor Donnell Turner shares a few words with Soap Opera Digest about the whole situation. He mentioned that he knew about Curtis’s situation months earlier and said it was hard to digest. Turner said that General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini broke the news. It was a shock for GH viewers after watching Curtis’ condition, and it was the same for the actor. Turner revealed that he was about to jump with the surprising twist in Curtis’ life.

General Hospital star claimed that the viewers should not give up on Curtis yet as he has a long road ahead. Of course, Curtis’ life took a U-turn after getting shot, but we never know, he might get back his old life. While speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Turner affirmed to the viewers that they should be strong enough to face such things. He also added that it’s okay to cry but should never give up. The actor concluded that Curtis doesn’t want the fans and the viewers to feel sorry for him but to cheer him up to regain strength.

On General Hospital, Curtis was shot at the Metro Court Pool, and the reality hit him hard when he woke up. The doctors revealed that he became paralyzed from the waist down and couldn’t walk. Of course, there are chances for him to walk over some treatments, but Curtis noticed nobody is putting effort. So, Curtis himself researches treatments that can recover him.
Although Curtis is hoping to recover, he feels he’s a burden to his wife, Portia. Therefore, in the recent episodes of General Hospital, Curtis yelled at her to make her go away.
