Rightful DAYS Termination: Should Rafe Hernandez Have Been Fired?
Will Rafe regret his DAYS affair with Jada?
On Days of our Lives, Rafe Hernandez was stunned when the acting mayor fired him for breaking department rules and sleeping with subordinate Jada. Rafe just naturally assumed Jada would be the one fired.
Days of our Lives Polling
After all, Rafe (Galen Gering) is the boss! Oops. Did he deserve to be sacked for sleeping with Jada (Elia Cantu)? Here’s what fans had to say.
Rafe Hernandez: Pick Me Girls
Rafe should have been given a choice, 10% propose: Either break up with Jada and keep his job, or keep seeing Jada and step down. That way, the choice would be his. Sure, he likes Jada now, but is she worth his career? He was fine with doing it when he thought the rules applied to everyone but him. Now that he’s being treated like a regular person, he might reconsider some of his life choices.
DAYS: I Fought the Law, and the Law Won
It’s not like the rules against inter-office dating come out of nowhere, 19% would like to point out. Rafe and Jada were dutifully following them. Until they decided not to. Rafe knew what the consequences were, and he went ahead and flouted them anyway. What kind of example would it set for all the other civil employees if Rafe got special treatment? How is he supposed to enforce the law if he’s not required to follow it?
Rafe Hernandez: All About Me
In the end, however, a majority 71% are all on Team Rafe. The poor guy! It’s not like he’s ever had a lot of luck with women. First, there was Sami (Alison Sweeney). What can anyone say about the life-smashing disaster that is Sami?
And then there was Hope (Kristian Alfonso). A pit-stop with Jordan (Chrishell Hartley). And, more recently, Nicole (Ariane Zucker). Rafe must have thought he hit the jackpot with low-maintenance, low-key, low-energy Jada. Doesn’t he deserve that? How dare the law get in the way of what Rafe wants? It’s unfair and should not be enforced.
