Dr. George is a specialist whom Mariah and Tessa visit after becoming aware that their infant daughter, Aria, could have hearing issues.

It all began when the moms were in Chancellor Park on a clear, bright, sunny day. Somehow thunder broke out.
It was loud and startled the moms but they noticed that Aria slept through it.
They consulted Mariah’s mom Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) who tried to alleviate their fears but ended up suggesting they seek medical advice if it helped ease their concerns.
Later they were back in the park talking to Elena about the situation, as well as their concern for the busy, lovelorn doctor.
More on that in a minute. Elena went over treatment options including a cochlear implant as Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) once had.

However, the moms were back in the coffee house when an exuberant Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) shouted her pleasure at being made the new manager.
Aria woke up and cried and the moms were relieved that the baby could “hear.”

As for Elena, this week she gets an eyeful when she spots her ex Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) chumming it up at the GCAC bar ….
