Even after multiple decades of being on-air, Days of Our Lives still manages to catch viewers by surprise, and that is no small feat! Recently, Harris Michaels expressed his wish to be sent off to Bayview in light of his recent brainwashing. When that happened, fans fired up speculations that he would perhaps encounter Ava at the facility. After all, she too, has been getting treatment off-screen at Bayview. While, that still remains a possibility, that run-in will have to wait! Because the makers have a far more unexpected return up their sleeves!
The latest Days of Our Spoilers reveal that actress Kassie DePaiva is all set to reprise her role as Eve Donovan on the Peacock soap. While this comes as welcome news for the DOOL fanbase. We wonder how Harris will react when he comes face-to-face with Eve. After all, the man shares a rather difficult past with her. For the unversed, actor Steve Burton had first debuted on Days of Our Lives in 1988. Back then, a young Harris made a bet with his buddies to see who manages a hook-up with Eve first.

Of course, Harris ended up being the winner on Days of Our Lives. However, in the process, he also ended up developing genuine feelings for Eve. Unfortunately, she then found out about their bet, and the couple had a falling out. Unable to forgive Harris, she held on to the grudge, and the two never managed a reconciliation. Ever since then, this will be the first meeting Harris and Eve will have. He will undoubtedly feel hit by a wave of painful memories of how he hurt her.
Perhaps Harris will take the opportunity to finally make amends to Eve on Days of Our Lives. However, w ith all those years in between, it is difficult to guess where she stands in life now. Although considering that she, too, might be a patient at Bayview, her life may not be going very smoothly. So it will be interesting to see how she reacts to Harris approaching her. Although, there is a chance that she might be more forgiving now that Harris’ life has completely fallen apart.
