General Hospital Recap: Thursday, August 17 – Luke Behind Tracy’s Obsession – Gregory’s Fall Scares Violet
General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, August 17, reveals that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) threw his water bottle and knocked over a chair in the PCPD interrogation room. Cody also tossed some papers and refused to calm down since Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was in danger.
Mac Scorpio (John J. York) made it clear that Cody would be arrested if he didn’t cool it, but Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) urged Mac to leave and let him handle this.
Cody’s behavior became increasingly outlandish when Dante returned, so he ultimately suspected Cody was trying to get committed to Ferncliff so he could come to Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) rescue.
Although Cody denied it, Dante warned him that the restraining order was no joke and insisted there’d be consequences if Cody didn’t follow it.
Cody was ultimately free to go, but Dante still seemed worried about how reckless he was being.
At the hospital, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) ran into TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and mentioned that she was meeting Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) to ask if she’d serve on her new foundation’s board of directors.
After a productive meeting, Kristina spoke to TJ again and seemed hopeful about Terry accepting the role.
TJ guessed the meeting was worth missing the sushi party for, so Kristina was confused and wondered what he was talking about.
At Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Brooke Anne Smith) apartment, she welcomed Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) ahead of the sushi takeout arrival.
Molly had some family news and said she’d have to deliver it alone since TJ was on call.
That led to Molly offering updates on their surrogate interviews and how they chose Andrea Gates (Lily Anne Smith), who was willing to get pregnant right away.
Sam, Alexis and Jordan all seemed to think this was happening too fast, but Molly felt certain that they were ready to be parents.
After sushi and some talk about the surrogacy details, Molly spoke to Sam alone and asked her to be the baby’s godmother. Sam loved that idea, but she hinted that the pregnancy needed to happen first.
Kristina eventually showed up to confront Molly about the party she wasn’t invited to and pushed Sam to let them talk alone.
Elsewhere, Alexis and Jordan acknowledged how quickly Molly and TJ were moving on this baby plan, but they were supportive.
Jordan questioned why Kristina wasn’t at the party, so Alexis acted like she must’ve been busy and suggested Molly probably filled her in earlier.
After Jordan said it was wonderful that Kristina and Molly were so close, Alexis agreed despite looking like she didn’t believe it!
While Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) grew closer on a luau date night, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) babysat Violet Finn (Jophielle Love).
That led to some trouble since Gregory’s fingers froze up while trying to make bracelets with Violet.
Gregory dropped some beads before Violet ran in the other room to retrieve something. Once Gregory tripped and fell, Violet was alarmed to find him on the floor when she returned.
Although Violet wondered if they should call Finn, Gregory insisted he was fine and that there was no need to bother her daddy.
However, Violet didn’t think it was such a good idea to keep making bracelets since she noticed Gregory’s fingers were acting funny.
Once Finn came home, he checked on Violet and saw that she was struggling to sleep. Violet admitted it was because it scared her when Grandpa fell earlier.
In the living room, Finn picked up some beads that Gregory dropped, but Gregory acted like he was just tired and clumsy.
A skeptical Finn wondered if there was another reason and mentioned Gregory’s fall, so Gregory hinted about “something awful” as he prepared to confess his ALS diagnosis.
At the Metro Court pool, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) kept encouraging Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) to down Mai Tais and finally got her drunk enough to confess why she was so obsessed with her Deception plot.
Tracy got emotional over how much she missed Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and suggested this was something else for her to focus on.
Once Tracy eventually got loud and started making a scene, Brook Lynn decided it was time to hustle her home.
Mac also joined Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) at the luau, where she admitted she was looking to do more than just be a grandmother.
Although Felicia wanted to help out at the PCPD, Mac pitched the idea of her finding a way to help the community through GH instead.
General Hospital spoilers say Fellicia will get inspired by a new project soon, so stick with the ABC soap.
